Overview
The SLAO-4000 (Audio Optical Transceiver) series audio optical terminal consists of an optical transmitter and an optical receiver, designed for high-quality bidirectional transmission of 4-channel analog L/R stereo or digital AES3/EBU audio signals. The analog/digital audio input signals undergo A/D and D/A conversion processing, ultimately transforming into fiber optic signals for real-time long-distance transmission. Each input and output channel is independently processed, with the channel type and number freely configurable to meet various customer needs.
Due to each device’s capabilities in unidirectional and bidirectional optical transmission, Ethernet 100M/1000M/AOIP, SNMP cloud monitoring, and its high stability, reliability, and ease of use, the product is widely used in fields such as audio signal long-distance transmission in broadcasting, transportation, surveillance, security, industrial automation, power, customs, water conservancy, and banking. It is especially commonly used in transmission towers, where the distance from a typical broadcasting station to a transmission tower can be several dozen kilometers. Using audio optical terminal equipment for signal transmission not only keeps costs low but also ensures high-quality signal transmission.
